Voidance

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Voidance is built on a simple promise: what you write is never saved, never uploaded, and never seen by anyone — including us. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with data.

What you write

The text you type (or dictate) into Voidance exists only in your device's temporary memory while you are writing it. When you release it, it is destroyed. It is never:

Microphone

If you enable the optional "Scream to Release" feature, Voidance measures the loudness level of the microphone only while you are holding the release button. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted — the app reads a momentary volume number and immediately discards it. You can use the entire app without ever granting microphone access.

No account, no tracking

Voidance has no accounts, no sign-in, no email collection, no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking of your behavior in the app.

Purchases

Voidance offers a single optional one-time purchase, processed by Apple. To deliver and restore this purchase we use RevenueCat, a purchase-infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier and your App Store purchase receipt so your unlock can be verified and restored on your devices. This data identifies a purchase, not a person — it is never linked to your name, email, or anything you write. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on their handling of this data.

Data we collect

Beyond the purchase information described above: none.

Children

Voidance does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date above.
